These are some of the illustrations I did for as a production artist/animator at Kidlandia. I had to develop a style that matched the creatures that were already conceptualized. I created and illustrated all the posted work. For those of you interested I used a paperless workflow. All the work from sketches to final artwork was done on a cintiq. It’s awesome! you draw right on the screen. I have the 21 inch Cintiq. Its roomy and gives plenty on space for all the panels. I’ll post a video of it in action when I get time.
They are all supposed to have a very loose hand drawn kids art feel. Also they were made to be 2 inch animated icons.
